TSSHBF was formed in 1990 with the following mission:

* To promote the breeding, training, sales, and exhibition of the American Saddlebred Horses in the Pa, Oh, WV and souroudnign areas.

* To educate and inform the gerneal public concerning the merits & benefits of breeding, owning, showing, & caring for the American Saddlbred horse.

*To cooperate with educational institutions, governmental agencies and civic orginazations to educate and inform the genral public with respect tot he American Saddlebred Horse

*To support educational activities on the care and maintenance of the American Saddlebred Horse.
